Howard R. Priddy

Howard R. Priddy, 85, of Byesville, passed away Thursday (July 16, 2020) at his home.

 He was born May 3, 1935 in Putnam Co., WV and was the son of the late Sherman and Virginia (Norvel) Priddy.

 Mr. Priddy retired from the Ford Motor Company, Brookpark, after thirty five years of service.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.

 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry L. Priddy; a son in law, Ned Waibel; two sisters, Doris and Jane; two brothers, Harold and Jim.

 He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rena B. (Withrow) Priddy whom he married November 29, 1952; three sons, Ron Priddy of Elyria, Richard Priddy of Elyria, and Steve Priddy of LaGrange; four daughters, Barbara A. Minney of Byesville, Caroline Priddy of Byesville, Brenda (Gene) Durbin of Wakeman, and Jeanette Waibel of Plymouth; two brothers, Tom (Nancy) Priddy of Sullivan and Glen (Mary) Priddy of Grafton; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with a private family service to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Burial to follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
