Jack King, age 94, a lifelong resident of Byesville, passed away on January 8, 2021 at Altercare of Zanesville.
He was born May 12, 1926 in Cambridge and was the son of the late Homer O. and Elsie I. (Sills) King.
Jack retired after 32 years of service from the former Randall Plastics and was a 1944 graduate of Byesville High School.
Jack was an avid supporter of local high school sports, and faithfully attended as many games as possible, cheering on the Byesville Falcons, and later the Meadowbrook Colts, he was also a diehard fan of OSU and all the major sports teams of Cleveland.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Geneva (Mack) King whom he married on October 22, 1955, a son, Mark A. King and a daughter-in-law, Paula K. King.
He is survived by two sons, Gary (Linda) King of Zanesville and Timothy (Elizabeth) King of Nashport, two grandsons, Gary King of Pleasant City, and Timothy J. King of Massillon.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday Jan.12th at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
