James R Neff

James R. Neff, 61, of Byesville, passed away Thursday (March 10, 2022) at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born March 3, 1961 in Cambridge, son of Florence (Bailey) Neff and the late Gary Neff.

Jim worked as a Diesel Mechanic and also worked several years in the oil and gas industry.

He was a 1979 graduate of Meadowbrook High School.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Browns and Buckeyes play football and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother Florence Neff of Byesville, two sons Jason (& Kristen) Neff of Mason and Anthony (& Julie) of Walhonding; two grandchildren Braxton Neff and Briella Neff.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (March 15, 2022) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Black Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow with Fr. Paul Hrezo officiating. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
