Jane Ardith (Rich) Miley

Jane Ardith (Rich) Miley, 89, of Sarahsville, passed away Wednesday (June 17, 2020) at the home of her daughter Jane in Caldwell of natural causes.

 She was born June 14, 1931 near Sarahsville, and was the daughter of the late Chauncey and Hazel (Franklin) Rich.

 Ardith married John C. Miley, from Mt. Ephraim, on December 1, 1950.  She and her husband were farmers and enjoyed raising turkey, shorthorn cattle, fox, mink, and tobacco for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John C. Miley on November 20, 2001; one sister Twila Nadine; and infant twin great grandsons, Bradyn and Boone McKee.

 Ardith is survived by her children, John William Miley, Wayne (Martha) Miley, Paul (Jean) Miley, Robert (Tammy) Miley, all of Sarahsville; and one daughter Jane (Dan) Webster of Caldwell;  one sister, Norma (Jack) Miley of Sarahsville; 17 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter; many nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her passing.

 Graveside viewing will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Ephraim Cemetery with services to follow at 1:30 with Pastor Bob Werry and Rev. Bill Pickenpaugh officiating.
