We are saddened to share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Jeanne (Wade) Selock on December 21, 2020. She left us peacefully while in the care of the staff at The Oaks and Genesis Hospice. She had previously been a resident of the Cardinal House and Cambridge Place.
She was born August 27, 1929 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Roy and Marie Wade.
Jeanne was a homemaker and retired from Rolling Hills Local School District. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, yard work, jig saw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Main Ave. United Methodist Church in Byesville and Phi Chapter of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Selock whom she married November 12, 1949 and passed away June 25, 2015.
She is survived by two sons, Tom (Penny) Selock of Zanesville and Bob (Robyn) Selock of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Justin Selock of Zanesville, Ashley Selock of North Carolina, Heather (Pete) Chishom of Cleveland, Cassie (Cole) Tomplait of New Concord and Carrie (Josh) Sichina of Utica; great grandchildren, Max Selock, Liam and Myles Tomplait, Madison, Claire and Elise Sichina; a sister Gerry (Tom) Evans of Byesville; and a brother in law and sister in law, Emil (Janet) Selock of Cambridge; along with several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
