Obituary
Jeffrey E. Kennedy, 64, of Kimbolton, passed away Sunday (July 30, 2023) at the Morrison House of Zanesville.
He was born December 2, 1958 in Sedalia MO, son of the late Russell E. Kennedy and Marie A. (Hawkins) Kennedy.
Jeffrey attended Cambridge High School. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Denise Ellen Kennedy.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Michelle (Durben) Kennedy, whom he married January 18, 2005; a son, Jeffrey (Tamara) Kennedy of Byesville; two stepsons, Cory (Jenna) Johnson of Old Washington and Justin Cole (Valerie) Durben of Hannibal; two brothers, Gerald (Maggie) Kennedy of Coshocton and Kevin Kennedy of Caldwell; a sister, Cheryl (Mark) Cole of Newcomerstown; six grandchildren, Julie Johnson, Ashlyn Kennedy, Trisha Johnson, Addison Durben, Kaydee Kennedy, and Liam Durben; three nieces; three nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his lifelong friend, Forrest Gano.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (August 2, 2023) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Jeffrey’s name be made to the Genesis Cancer Center, c/o Genesis HealthCare Foundation, 1135 Maple Ave, Zanesville OH 43701.
