Obituary
John Gombeda Jr., 58, of Farmington, New Mexico and formerly of Guernsey County, passed away Friday (April 7, 2023).
He was born April 25, 1964 in Cambridge, son of Dorothy (St. Clair) Stephen and the late John Gombeda Sr.
John was a mechanic, having worked on motorcycles and engines for most of his life.
He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers in the desert. He loved the outdoors and hunting. John also drove race cars for several years.
John is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Lonnie) Stephen of Cumberland; a son; a daughter; two sisters, Tina (Dean) Collins of Amanda OH and Gina (Doug) Birdsong of New Columbia PA; two stepbrothers, Jeff West and Wayne West; a grandchild; several nieces & nephews; his long-time companion, Ellen Garber of Farmington, New Mexico; and his dog, Buddy.
