Julie K. Rominger (age 63) of Freeport, Ohio, peacefully passed away on October 30th, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on May 26th, 1958 in Martins Ferry to her parents, Woodrow and Beula Eddy.
Julie worked as a bus driver and classroom aide at Beech Grove Head start in the early 2000s for a few years. Afterward, she enjoyed her time being a stay-at-home mother and then later, a loving grandmother. Julie enjoyed crafting, reading, shopping, and music. Leading up to her passing, she was teaching herself how to play the piano at which she was becoming quite accomplished. She was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and she demonstrated that belief in her caring and unjudgmental character. Christmas was her favorite holiday; she enjoyed shopping and buying gifts for everyone in her family, including her sons and daughters-in-law and close friends. She will be remembered for the unconditional love she had for her husband, children, and -most importantly- her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Beula Eddy and her brothers, Jeffrey, Ernie, and Cloyd Eddy.
Julie is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 45 years, Larry James Rominger; her children, Adam (Jamie) Rominger, Andrew (Alyssa) Rominger, Matthew (Jamie) Rominger, Rebecca (Sean) Mathia, and Katie (Graham) Janusik; her sisters, Donna (Don) Butler, Linda (Ron) Rominger, and Diane (Don) Theobald; her grandchildren, Easton and Kylie Rominger, and Marissa and Joseph Mathia; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends she considered family.
No visitation or services will be held at this time.
The family sincerely requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in her name to Cleveland Clinic at give.ccf.org.
