Kevin Watson, 60, of Byesville passed away Thursday (November 26, 2020) at Ohio State University Medical Center.
He was born October 30, 1960 in Cambridge and was the son of the late Billie and Margie (Duff) Watson.
Kevin was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Shelly and Sands for nearly 30 years. He was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School, and a member of Union Operators Local #18. He enjoyed family time, golfing, hunting, and fishing. While he was laid off in the winter he enjoyed doing body work on cars. He was a fan of Kansas City Chiefs and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Watson; in-laws, Betty Hughes Tester and Douglas Hughes.
Survivors include his wife Nikki (Hughes) Watson whom he married November 18, 1995; six sons, Johnny of Columbus, Jeremy Michael of Belle Valley, Kevin and Josh, both of Byesville, Jeremy Blake (Tiffany) of Cambridge and Michael (Britany) of Columbus; one daughter Teiah (Keanu) of California; four sisters, Kathie (Curt) Eagon of New Concord, Jane (Bob) Stillion of Buffalo, Natalie Watson (Case) of Cambridge and Terrie (Tim) Kinkade of Claysville; ten grandchildren, Dillion, Taylor, Kali, Zeila, Ariella, Elisha, Coen, Adalynn, Jamison and Aubree; brother-in-law Tony (Carla) Hughes of TX; sisters-in-law, Sandy Watson, of Cambridge, Vickie Robinson and Tammy Hughes, both of IN; special friends, Ronnie and Denise Sebek, Rex and Sherry Stewart, Bill and Beth Stewart and Rob and Deb Boyer, father-in-law, Ed Tester, of Byesville, and several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday (Dec. 2nd) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Evangelist Woody Biggs officiating.
Friends and family are welcome, but due to Covid-19, MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Please take all precautions to ensure your own safety and everyone else’s should you decide to attend.
