Larry C. Jackson, 65, of Byesville, passed away Wednesday (July 22, 2020) at Summit Acres Nursing Home.
He was born October 11, 1954 in Guernsey County and was the son of the late John A. and Mary M. (Cross) Jackson.
Larry retired from the former LDM after 15 years of service. He was a 1973 graduate of Cambridge High School, and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed making model planes, trucks, cars and boats.
In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother, Dave Jackson.
He is survived by his wife Doris Jackson of Byesville; three sons, Christopher (Amanda Stillion) Adkins of Byesville, Robert (Sarah) Jackson of Alabama, and Matthew (Brad) Jackson of Kentucky; one daughter, Cynthia M. Jackson of KY; two sisters, Cynthia M. Jackson of Cambridge and Karen (Roger) Huff Sr. of Byesville; and six grandchildren including Bradley and Chase Adkins of Byesville.
Calling hours will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Evangelist Mark Beros officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council following the service.
In keeping with the COVID-19 regulations, masks are mandatory before entering the funeral home.
