Linda L. (Woodward) Ridgley

Linda Louise (Woodward) Ridgley,76, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 12, 2019 at her home. 

She was born March 4, 1943 in Cambridge to the late Paul Dwight “Duke” and Eleanor Louise (Calland) Woodward.

Linda was a 1961 graduate of Cambridge High School and Cambridge Business College.  She volunteered as an EMT with the Byesville Emergency Squad for 25 years, and served as a member of the Byesville Village Council.  After 23 years she retired from Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.  She was a member of the Ninth Street United Methodist Church and active in the Senecaville United Methodist Church, Krafty Ladies, Senecaville Sack Lunch Program, and a member of the Red Hat Divas. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother James D. “Woody” Woodward, and sister-in-law Kristen H Woodward.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Scott) Rawlins of Old Washington, Paula (Trent) Roederer of Byesville; grandsons Ethan and Caden Stoldt; step grandchildren Tori (Seth) Cowgill, Tia (Jalil) Carter, Skyler Roederer; great grandchildren, Camden and Bronson Cowgill, Jaylee and Mia Carter. 

In addition, she leaves her best friend Nancy McCurdy and sister-in-law Nancy (John) Seckman, several nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank the “angels on earth” of Hospice of Guernsey for their compassion and loving kindness, especially Maria Neuhart.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14th from 5-8 p.m. Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15th with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating.  Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
