Lottie Scholik, 93, of Lore City passed away Sunday (April 14, 2019) at the Cambridge Place.
She was born December 4, 1925 in Kassel, Germany and was the daughter of the late Willey and Matilda (Lentz) Stricker.
Lottie was a homemaker and had previously worked at NCR and RCA. She was protestant by faith, a member of the Red Hatters, and the Guernsey Co. Senior Center. She was a very good artist and painted many beautiful pictures. She enjoyed needlework, flea markets, antiquing with her husband, and arts and crafts.
In addition to her parents Lottie was preceded in death by her husband John Richmond Scholik whom she married July 17, 1948 in Germany and passed away in July 17, 1994.
She is survived by one son Larry W. (Brenda) Scholik of Alexandria; two grandchildren, Amy (Jerry) Schlomer of Frederick, MD and William Scholik of Pickerington; one great granddaughter Alexandra; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Scholik, June Sklenar both of Lore City and Roberta Scholik of Memphis, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville where services will follow at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
