Marcella Beros Obituary

Marcella A. (Marlatt) Beros, 93, formerly of Buffalo passed away Monday (December 14, 2020) at the Beckett House in New Concord.

She was born August 29, 1927 in Coshocton and was the daughter of the late Felix and Ival (Sterling) Marlatt.

Marcella attended Coshocton High School. She retired from Rolling Hills Local School District as a bus driver. After her retirement she enjoyed the outdoors. She loved to mow her yard, watch the wildlife and enjoyed her home on the family farm. She was the Matriarch of the family and left a legacy of unconditional love. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Joseph Beros, whom she married April 4, 1959 and passed away March 3, 2005; and a sister Rose Foraker.

She is survived by one son Mark (Angie) Beros of Senecaville; one daughter Nalena (Adrian “Skip”) Klaas of Dinwiddle, VA; five grandchildren, Angela (Michael) Novak of McKenney, VA, Luke (Tonya) Neff of Pleasant City Kara (John) Cleek of Senecaville, Allison (Kyle) Garner of Senecaville and Hannah Beros of Vienna, WV; great grandchildren, Kathryn Novak, Xander Fairchild, Dane Cleek, Brantley Neff, and Ellie Garner; a sister-in-law Marge Urdak of Byesville; several nieces and nephews.

The family sends a special thank you to her caregivers at the Beckett House, they became like a second family to Marcella. Their care and compassion for her is greatly appreciated.

Per Marcella’s request a private family service will be held with burial at the Buffalo Cemetery.
