Maria K (Lashley) Wilson

Maria (Lashley) Wilson, 60, of Byesville gained her wings on Sunday (August 30, 2020).  She passed at home surrounded by family. 

 Maria was born October 24, 1959 and was the daughter of the late George and Sharon Lashley.

 Maria worked as a waitress at Big Boy Restaurant, and later went on to work at Meridian Plastics and LMI Custom Mixings.  She later returned to college and received her Early Childhood Education certificate, and went to work for Wee Cherish Daycare.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Cindy Gerrity and Mindy Lashley; and one brother Philip Lashley.

 She leaves behind her loving husband of 40 years Larry Wilson of Byesville; one son, Travis (Billie) Wilson of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Larry (Kelsey) Wilson of Caldwell, Morgan, George, Marcus and Taylor “Nan” Wilson; three great grandchildren, Liliia, Carter and Carson; one sister Shelila Knox; Cousin Zelda Patterson, and best friends Cathy and Debbie; several nieces and nephews including, Hope (Sean) Snead.

 Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Buffalo Cemetery.
