He was a 1967 graduate of Meadowbrook High School and later graduated from Summit County Technical College in Akron.
He was employed by NCR for 15 years. He then worked for Hugh W. Roller and Associates as an insurance agent, and was most recently employed with AFLAC. He also served on Byesville Village Council for several years.
Mark was an active member of the Cambridge Elks Lodge #448. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his golf trips with his many friends.
He was an accomplished magician, who performed shows for many local groups and organizations throughout the years. He also worked for Deremer Productions, performing magic at county and state fairs in Ohio and several other states. He was a long time member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Mark always had a trick up his sleeve and was more than willing to entertain.
