Mary Louise (Seegert) Bleisath

Mary Louise Bleisath, 85, of Pleasant City, passed away Saturday (June 24, 2023) at her home.

She was born February 14, 1938 in Blissfield MI, daughter of the late Marvin Seegert and Veronica (Northcott) Meiring.

Mary was a graduate of the Toledo School of Nursing and became a registered nurse.  She was the head nurse of the OR at Fairview General Hospital for many years, retiring in 2006.

She was a member of Christ’s Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Wilkins; and a brother-in-law, Richard Wilkins.

Mary is survived by her husband, Roy Bleisath, whom she married October 29, 1960; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jill Bleisath of North Ridgeville and their children, Katelyn (Josiah) Molter of Rocky River, William (Fernanda) Bleisath of Ashland, and Allysa Bleisath of North Ridgeville; her daughter, Laura Harris of Bay Village and her children, Zachary Harris and Megan Harris both of Bay Village; her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Brian Straka of Sevierville TN; and her brother, Garland (Nancy) Seegert.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday (August 26, 2023) at 11 a.m. at Bethesda on the Bay Lutheran Church (28607 Wolf Road, Bay Village, Ohio 44140).  A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church.
