Mary Lou Grier, 90, formerly of Senecaville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 11, 2023.
She was born on November 6, 1932 in Senecaville to the late Charles and Alberta (Johnson) Marquis. She was a 1950 graduate of Senecaville High School.
She retired from NCR after thirty years of service.
Mary was a long time member of the Senecaville United Methodist Church. She was involved in the church choir for many years and enjoyed Sunday School class and Bible study.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Marquis; and a sister, Martha Ann DeLong.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Phil) Lappert; three grandchildren, Rochelle (Danny) Rusnak, Shane (Missy) Lappert, and Stacy (Ronnie) Hare; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan and Zach Rusnak, Brayden, Blake, and Brynlee Lappert, and Ronnie, Kyle, and Gavin Hare. She really enjoyed watching the great-grandchildren play sports. She also leaves behind a niece, Kelly DeLong; a nephew, Jason (Jill) DeLong; two great-nieces, Maurie (Clay) Larimer and Sydnie DeLong (Kyle Casteel); and a great-great-niece, Rylin Larimer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (May 16, 2023) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Nancy Parsons officiating.
Burial will be at Senecaville Cemetery.
