Monica Bobosky Obituary

Monica Marie Bobosky, 78, of Senecaville, joined hands together and walked into the heavens Sunday, September 12, 2021, with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior whom she confessed that died for us all so we can have everlasting life with him.

Monica was born September 27, 1942, the daughter of the late George and Pauline Kuzlik Shingary.

She was the family matriarch, the heart and strength of all her family in every aspect of the word. She was the caregiver, the person to call or the place to stay.

She worked for RCA, retired from NCR as a computer programmer after several years. She worked at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 1984 to expand her knowledge with them.

Her hobbies were many. Her gardens were her passion with each planting of bulbs in sequence, to sprouting up just in time for its show of beauty, and the perennials starting their timing just perfectly also. The gardens were a show of God’s beauty he gave her, this majestic touch outside and inside her home.

She and her husband, John, loved boating, skiing, and camping at Seneca lake since the 70’s and were the 1st to set fireworks off out of their boat at the big island in the late 70’s, shooting them over the water (who knows, maybe they started the trend).

Her camping adventure’s started in the 70’s – 90’s. They took their family all across the United States traveling from the east coast to the west coast and seeing the beauty of this great country in a camper inside a truck bed to a motor home, heading south to Florida or going north to the last frontier, North Pole, Alaska, where her children lived in the early 80’s.

Her son took her and her sister, Marie, and traveled the Great Alaskan Outdoors through the Majestic Mt. McKinley to Anchorage to the Kenai Peninsula where she enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and shrimping. She enjoyed it all, with her family right there beside her. Her family was her life.

She attended her daughter Kristan’s wedding in June of 1982 in North Pole, Alaska, after traveling in a motor home 7 days with her parents, and the mother of the groom and sister. In November of 1983, she welcomed her 1st grandchild.

In 1994 she flew up with her husband for the marriage of their son Kevin. Like we said, she loved to travel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Mackenzie Tolley.

Family was everything to her. Surviving her, is her husband of 59 years, John A. Bobosky, whom she married November 11, 1961, a daughter, Kristan (Jeff) Schultice, and a son, Kevin Bobosky, both of Senecaville.

Her five grandchildren were her life with all their accomplishments. Logan (Jennie) Schultice, Kyla (Jarod) Eubanks, Alexandria Bobosky, Devin Bobosky, and Lindsay Bobosky.

Her four great grandchildren, who gave her the smiles and laughter that small children can bring with their little adventures, Isabella Eubanks, Addison Schultice, Mason Schultice, and Nathan Eubanks. Her siblings, Tom (Bobbi) Shingary, Senecaville, John Shingary, Byesville, Mike Shingary, Senecaville, Marie (Fred) Scott Jr, and Georgene (Ed) Tolley, both of Byesville.

Special thanks to her granddaughter, Kyla, for her hospice care, her nurse, Nancy, and Debbie, her aide.
