Nancy L. (Dorland) Gray

**SERVICE UPDATE:  A graveside service will be held Wednesday (February 8, 2023) at 1 p.m. at Pleasant City Cemetery.**

Nancy L. Gray, 79, of Zanesville, passed away Friday (January 27, 2023) at the Morrison House, Zanesville.

She was born August 26, 1943 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Elmer L. Dorland and Wilma I. (Dennis) Dorland.

A graduate of Cadiz High School, Nancy was a beautician and owner of Nancy’s Beauty Salon for many years.

Nancy loved crafting, quilting, and traveling.  She cherished spending time with her family at their time share.

She was a member of the Claysville United Methodist Church for most of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry R. Gray, who passed away September 30, 2019; her brothers, Chuck, David, and Donald; and her infant sister, Jean.

Nancy is survived by two sons, Larry (Adele) Gray Jr. of Nashport and Eric (Jessica) Gray of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Harold Dorland of Cambridge; two sisters, Beverly Beason of Plano TX and Edie Zuress of Newark; two grandchildren, Chantelle Nolan and Ethan Gray; three great-grandchildren, Lydia, Wren, and Madeline; and several nieces & nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday (February 8, 2023) at 1 p.m. at Pleasant City Cemetery.
