Paul Anthony “Tony” Oakley, 50, of Pickerington, formerly of Byesville, passed away recently at his home.

 He was born August 28, 1969 in Cambridge and was the son of the late James C. and Gloria A. (Davis) Oakley.

 Tony was a 1987 graduate of Meadowbrook High, he attended The Ohio State University and received his Bachelor’s degree at Cal State Fullerton in Exercise Physiology and received his MBA from Franklin University. He served in the US Navy.

 Tony liked music, reading, cooking, exercising and the Ohio State Buckeyes.  He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his sons going to movies and attending their sporting events.

 In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother Patrick Arthur Oakley; a nephew, Paul Aaron Kackley; a niece Avri Lane (Oakley) Nieto.

 Tony is survived by two sons, Chance Patrick Oakley and Mason Parker Oakley both of Pickerington; mother of his sons and special friend Wendy S. Oakley of Pickerington; one sister Teresa (Raymond) Kackley of New Concord; five brothers, Mark (Deirdre) Oakley of San Diego, CA, Scott (Carol) Oakley of Senecaville, John (Judy) Oakley of Guntersville, AL, Matthew (Marcia) Oakley of North Garden, VA, James (Sherrie) Oakley of Nashport; one uncle Jake (Louise) Davis of Byesville; one cousin Tyrone (Brandy) Davis of Thornville; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

 Memorial visitation will be held Saturday (October 12th) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating.  The family will hold a private burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
