Richard Hensley Obituary

Richard Hensley, 66, of Byesville passed away Wednesday (May 26, 2021) at Altercare of Cambridge.

He was born August 28, 1954 in Cambridge son of the late Theo “Sarge” and Bonnie (Sills) Hensley.

Richard formerly worked at Goodwill in Zanesville, and was a 1972 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. He loved cheering for the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football.

In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by a sister Sharon, a brother-in-law, Mark Lemmon, and nephew JT Boyd.

He is survived by one brother Roy Hensley of Byesville; two sisters, Linda Bing and Carol Lemmon both of Byesville; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Nancy Parsons officiating.
