Robert Lyle "Bobby" Walker

Robert Lyle “Bobby” Walker, 74, of Cambridge passed away Saturday (April 18, 2020) at the Kobacker House in Columbus.

 He was born February 2, 1946 in Cambridge and was the son of the late Chester and Martha (Savage) Walker.

 Bobby was employed with Cambridge Packaging for 33 years, he was a 1964 graduate of Cambridge High School, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.  He loved fishing and made his own baits, tinkering in his garage, mowing his yard, and spending time with family and neighbors.

He is survived by cousins, Debbie Green of Byesville, Shawn Savage of Cambridge, Nick Savage of Salesville, Pam Carnahan of Dalton, Lou Crescenze of Massillon, Dickie Oiler of Massillon, and Libby Wiggington of Cambridge; special friends and family, Jason and Stacie Ritchie, Cami Ritchie, Alek Ritchie, Chase Ritchie, and Steven Dingus.

 Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery with burial to follow. Military honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
