Rosemary Olshawsky Obituary

Rosemary Olshawsky, 88, of Senecaville passed away Saturday (December 7, 2019) at Astoria Place.

 She was born January 28, 1931 in Salesville and was the daughter of the late Fred and Ila Ruby (Toohey) McGee.

 Rosemary was a former employee of NCR, and a bus driver for Rolling Hills Schools.  She was a 1949 graduate of Senecaville High School and a member of Senecaville United Methodist Church.  She was a former member of DAV Chapter Aux, #28, Kipling VFW Aux. #7371, and a life member of M.O.P.H. Aux #625. 

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andy Olshawsky whom she married July 17, 1949 and passed away September 2, 2015; one son, Charles Michael Olshawsky; two sisters, Nancy Hannahs and Ruth Ann Gatten; one brother Fred McGee;

 She is survived by one son, Martin Bryant Olshawsky of New York City, NY; one daughter Mary Ann Gibson of Gahanna; one granddaughter Andria Marie Gibson (Rafael) Castro of Maywood, IL; one great grandson Logan Castro.

 No calling hours will be observed.

 Graveside services will be 11:30 Wednesday at Senecaville Cemetery with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating. If unable to attend the graveside service, you are invited to Senecaville United Methodist Church for a luncheon.
