Obituary

Scott Lee Calvert, 62, of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday (August 9, 2023) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.

He was born July 28, 1961 in Cambridge, son of the late Charles H. Calvert and Juanita P. (Moorehead) Calvert.

A 1980 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, Scott had worked at LDM Plastech as a press operator for many years.  Later, he had worked in the maintenance department at Wal-Mart.

He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and working on his lawn mowers.  In his younger years, he enjoyed traveling to Florida.

Scott loved spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Patrick; two sisters, Barbara Brink and Carol Ray; and three brothers, Charles Calvert Jr., Ronald Calvert, and Charles J. Calvert.

Scott is survived by his wife, Marcella (Lashley) Calvert, whom he married July 5, 1980; a son, Daniel Calvert (and his girlfriend, Sylvania) of Buffalo; two sisters, Patricia (Don) Eltringham of Buffalo and Bonnie Jean Thomas of Columbus; and four grandchildren, Artemis, Sirius, Irissa, and Calcifer.

No calling hours will be observed.  No funeral services will be held at this time.
