***The family of Sharon “Sherri” Ann Potts welcomes you to come and celebrate her life. Please dress for a gathering of friends rather than a funeral – Sherri loved colors bright and bold, so in her honor consider wearing something colorful or bold as she would have appreciated it. The family also welcomes you to bring your best “Sherri” story to share as her legacy is remembered by all.
The celebration of life will be held at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center (7033 Glenn Highway, Cambridge OH 43725) on Sunday (July 17, 2022) from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. as well as from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eschbaugh, followed by Dr. B.K. Jones II, who will tell one of Sherri’s favorite stories.
Please call Eddie Potts with any questions or additional directions at (740) 260-0483.**
Sherri A. Potts, a Loving Mother of two, Grandmother of three, and an adoring wife to her husband Eddie G. Potts, passed away on Tuesday the 11th of January. Sherri was born on the 28th of October, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. She later moved to Seneca Lake where she met and fell in love with Eddie; they married on August 6th 1977. They together started two businesses that were very successful along with starting their family. Eddie and Sherri grew an amazing farm overlooking Seneca Lake.

Sherri loved to cook and she even published her own cookbook. Sherri’s passion for hunting ran deep as she loved being in the woods, especially to turkey hunt and hunt big whitetail bucks with her bow. She was most passionate about her family and her grandchildren. She has a smile that could light up any room, along with a contagious laugh/giggle that will not be forgotten.
Sherri was preceded in death by her Father James A. DeBold, Mother Ellie Merchant, Step-Father Harry Merchant, Brother-in-law Joseph Potts, Sister-in-Law Lori Smith; Grandparents and several Aunts and Uncles.
