Shirley Isabel (Jacobs) Miller

Shirley Isabel Miller, 83, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday November 10, 2020 in Gibson Family Hospice Center surrounded by her family. Shirley was born July 26, 1937 in Rio Grande, Ohio to Henry Jacobs and Verna Wilson Jacobs. She was a member of the East Side Church of Christ, where she and her deceased husband, Abe ministered for several years. Shirley was a homemaker. She enjoying making quilts, cooking and especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; James Jacobs and Charles Jacobs and her husband, Abe Miller who passed away May 9, 2015. She is survived by five children; Becky Voytko (Bill) of Cambridge, Ohio, Bonnie Govert (Tim) of Terre Haute, Bernice Helman (Troy) of Terre Haute, Brent Miller (Angie) of Terre Haute and Bruce Miller of Alabama. She is survived by one brother, Marvin Jacobs, and a sister in-law, Verna Jacobs. She is survived by grandchildren; Alex Sperellis, Vanessa Falk, Craig Helman, Breanne Voytko, Sarah Helman, Rachel Miller, Nicholas Miller, Ryan Baker (Sahara), Gabby Peabody (Jacob), Hunter Govert, Abbe Baker, Kai Miller, Taya Miller and Gracie Miller. Great grandchildren include, Kaspar Dickison, Wendee Dickison and Peyton Falk. Graveside services are Saturday November 14, 2020 at 11:00 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Peter Reed officiating. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13thStreet, Terre Haute, IN 47807 was entrusted with arrangements.
