Stephanie Michelle (Runyon) Patterson

Stephanie Michelle (Runyon) Patterson, 54, of Marion, passed away Monday (June 19, 2023) in Cambridge.

She was born June 10, 1969 in Piqua, daughter of Michael Runyon and the late Lillie Barbara (Nutter) Runyon.

Stephanie graduated from Meadowbrook High School in 1988.  She was a homemaker, but most of all, she was a grandmother who loved watching her grandkids.

She enjoyed traveling to the ocean and the mountains with friends and family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Isaiah McConahay; and her grandparents, Wilson & Lillie Nutter, Emma Bailey, and Lewis Runyon.

She is survived by her father and his fiancée, Michael Runyon and Joyce Foust of Jackson Center; her husband, James T. Patterson of Marion; two sons, Todd (Heather) McConahay of Lancaster and Tim Campbell of Byesville; a daughter, Savanna (Frank) Heskett of Kimbolton; a brother, Timothy Runyon of Ohio; four grandchildren, Ben, Noah, Lillie, and Cali; and several nieces & nephews, especially Jimmy and Timmy Runyon.  A special thanks to her friends, Darcy & Todd Offinger and Sherry & Phil Johnson; to her Hospice nurses, Elizabeth and Cheryl, along with all the staff at Hospice; and to a special friend, Tina (How y’all doin’).

Visitation will be held Friday (June 23, 2023) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Scott Stremmel officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Stephanie’s name to Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.

Stephanie wanted to share a final message with everyone: “P.S., I love you forever and always.”
