Obituary
Thomas E. “Tom” Walter Jr., 57, of Cambridge passed away Monday (March 7, 2022) at SEORMC.
He was born May 16, 1964 in Cambridge, son of the late Thomas E. and Betty L. (Leeper) Walter. Tom was a longtime house painter, and attended Freedom Fellowship Church in Cambridge. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, and antiquing. He was an avid 49’ers fan and enjoyed listening to Hank Williams Jr.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother George Michael Walter; nephews, Corey Walter and Billy “Hoss” Touvell.
He is survived by one son Thomas James “Tommy” (Krisha) Walter of Cambridge; three brothers, Jonathan Walter (Amber Vance) of Cambridge, Kenny Walter of Cambridge and James Walter of Buckeye Lake; three sisters, Deborah Walter of Cambridge, Jane Walter (Jim Simpson) of Cambridge and Tammy Walter (Frank Hawkins); two grandchildren, Aislin and Kairin Walter; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday (March 16, 2022) at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with services to follow at 8:00 p.m.
