Wanda J. Long, 78, of Senecaville, passed away Sunday (March 26, 2023) at her home.
She was born October 17, 1944 in Buffalo, daughter of the late Ernest Reid and Juanita (Menzie) Buckey.
A 1962 graduate of Buffalo High School, Wanda retired from Kroger’s where she had worked for twenty-seven years.
She attended Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Wanda enjoyed decorating her house, cooking, camping, and ceramics. She loved taking care of her many grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Long.
She is survived by her husband, Larry W. Long, whom she married October 19, 1963; three sons, Randy Long of Buffalo, Dan (Shana) Long of Zanesville, and Christopher (Melissa) Long of Frazeysburg; two brothers, John (Pon) Reid of Buffalo and Richard Reid of New Concord; a sister, Mary (Virgil “Butch”) Stillion of Buffalo; eight grandchildren, Sophia, Claire, Sara, Ethan, Jared, Anthony, Stella, and Cooper; and a great-grandchild, Braden.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Thursday (March 30, 2023) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where a memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Evan. Mark Beros officiating.
